I had an epiphany pedaling my bike through the beautiful coastal town of Le Pouliguen, France.
Dating yourself is a radical act of self-love.
As I biked along, a tear welled up, whether from the gust of wind racing across my face, a wave of profound gratitude, or a combination of both. This isn't just about luxurious bubble baths or solo dinners. It's about something far deeper – it's about becoming the love of your life by wholeheartedly accepting every part of yourself. What I know is that my heart was beaming, receiving this powerful realization.
Watch this reel once. Then try it on, hum or sing along. do it again!
Have you ever noticed how a in a relationship or during a breakup—whether with a person, a system, a version of yourself, or an old belief— they tend to crack you open just enough to let clarity in?
You start solving things. You feel your way back to yourself.
For me breakups, with partners, lovers, friends, colleagues, have been the channel in how I’ve learned to re-establish my energetic baseline. The real shift happened when I started showing up for myself with solutions, not just problems.
This brewed some honest self-inquiry:
How do I reclaim my joy—not the performance of it, but the feeling?
Where did I lower my standards in the name of safety or comfort a.k.a. False Protection?
What if I started being the best friend that I always needed—tending as much to my #InnerDad and #InnerBFF?
When I paused and sat with myself in the quiet call of stillness. I began rituals that filled me up.
This looked like signing up for my dream gym membership, spending a playful afternoon learning to bake No-Knead bread just for the fun of it. I sought wisdom from mentors, to decode how to love and lead with purpose. I allowed myself to be surprised by new experiences in foreign countries, remembering my adventurous spirit and independence, while connecting with both new and old friends. Sometimes it was simply watching life unfold from a corner café scribbling in a Sudoku book. I’d also meditate once or twice a day, or doing neither because a power nap felt nourishing instead.
These small moments transformed into powerful rituals, fueling mental mastery and heart hygiene. It's a blending of Shiva and Shakti within, allowing life, death, and rebirth to dance together so that divine creativity can rise beyond primordial fear. This kind of healing doesn't rush or chase; it's an intentional process that motivates you to create the space that you need to feel yourself fully.
Whether you are single or in partnership, if you’re feeling a lack of love consider this your reminder: You are your own greatest love story.
How silly of me to forget that I did not know that I was the love of my life
If you're ready to explore this radical act of self-love and create your own rituals for healing and growth, I'm here to support you. I'm currently offering 1:1 and group sessions, as well as virtual distant healing.
With heart, hugs, and more hugs,
