I first discovered box breathing through Brené Brown’s Rising Strong, in a chapter called Reckoning.

Living in Chicago in my 20s, this intentional breathwork became a daily habit — a way to reorient back to myself.

The subtle shift it created in my own mindset was undeniable. So I brought it to my students, using it to open and close our sessions — gently creating space to land, soften, and reconnect.

Today, I use this practice to guide my 1:1 clients and group offerings back to what I refer to as the energetic baseline. It’s a breath-based reminder: you are safe, you are here, you are home.

Pair that with the deeply intuitive work of sound ceremonies, and your subconscious may feel giddy enough to step onto the podium to soften the loop of the unconscious monologue.

Sound has a way of massaging the cells into freedom — unearthing hidden tension, surfacing old stories, and making space for true expansion. When you get still enough you can hear yourself BE.

And now, I’m inviting you to share this experience with someone who’s created space for you.

💝 In Honor of Mother’s Day:

Let this be your way of saying: “I see you. I honor you. You deserve to receive, too.”

Come breathe, feel, and rise — for you, and for them.
