I flew to Chicago to celebrate the love between my college friend and her now life partner.
This couple invited 60 people of their nearest and dearest to join them in ceremony. You could feel the harmony puff out of their eyes. Their enrapture for each other encapsulated the essence of home is where the heart is. You might be able to guess what welled up. Tears of Love. Knowing the journey that they had gone through together and separately, both ready to sanctify their relationship. Their "inner families" rooted enough to step into this next chapter to tend to a union of choice.
People will come into our lives to help us fortify our questions or reality. When we make connections with others they become the windows to our souls and the mirrors of fates. When we feel provoked can you ask honestly reflect and ask yourself how do I collaborate with disharmony? How do I transmute tension into harmony? Creating harmony humanizes the story of joy and pain of another person. In activating harmony in ourselves it disarms the inner tsunami ready to crash; the wind re-directs its haste softening its edges in order to bubble to shore. In choosing this way of being it's claiming "I AM peace", over and over again.
